Having booking issues?

How and when do I pay?

You can pay online using a credit or debit card. We accept cash or childcare vouchers.

You can also call the admin office on 01189713840 to pay over the phone. Please note that there is an additional charge of 2.5% for credit card payments made this way.

All payments must be received 5 days prior to your child/children attending Jubilee Cadets, or your booking will be cancelled.

Can I use childcare vouchers?

Yes – we accept all childcare vouchers.

How much is each session & what’s included?

Option 1 Full Day (8am - 6pm) = £34.50

Option 2 AM (8am - 2pm) = £26.00

Option 3 School Day / Short Day (9am - 4pm) = £28.00

A 5% discount available if one or more siblings are booked OR if a full week is booked OR if a child has a sibling at Jubilee Day Nursery or Jubilee Gems. The maximum discount applied will be 5% to the first child in the booking.

All activities and a morning snack at 10am are included in the price.

What will my child need to bring?

We suggest your child/children come in dark clothing as we are in the woodland and love to get muddy! All clothing must be clearly named.

Children must bring along:

Wellies and another pair of shoes (it is likely that wellies will get wet so please ensure you bring a spare pair of shoes)

Two changes of clothing (including socks and underwear)

Named water bottle

The woods are very shaded, even in the Summer, so please remember a suitable jumper or fleece

Packed lunch for 12pm (and tea at 4pm if they are here for the full day)

In the Summer a suitable sun hat should be worn.

Strappy tops, shorts or sandals are not advised.

Please note that we do not supply sun cream or hats.

Children must arrive with sun protection cream applied in the warmer weather and insect repellent should you wish. The bottle of sun protection should be named and placed in your child’s bag for re-application throughout the day.

In the Spring / Autumn / Winter children need warm clothing in layers plus a hat and gloves. Thermal clothing and waterproofs are advised.

Do you provide meals?

A morning snack and drinking water is provided for the children. Please provide a named, packed lunch, water bottle and a packed tea if your child is staying for a full day.

Due to severe allergies, foods that contains nuts cannot be brought to Cadets

For example: pesto or popular spreads such as Nutella.

Please check ingredients if unsure.

Are you Ofsted registered?

Yes – our holiday club is registered as part of Jubilee Gems and our URN is EY449377

Who will be looking after my child?

Our team are what make Jubilee Cadets such a fantastic experience. They pride themselves on ensuring every child's individual needs are met and that they have a fun school holiday. Camp leaders have first aid qualifications and all of our team are DBS (formerly CRB) checked.

Our ratios are one member of staff to eight children (1:8)

Will my children be with children of a similar age?

Of course all children play together but we sometimes group children so that they can do age appropriate activities. During meal times we all sit together in our picnic areas. Our free play ethos ensures that children are able to select the activities they wish to do with whoever they wish.

What if my child needs extra assistance?

We aim to be inclusive of all children at Jubilee Cadets. Please email or call us if your child requires extra support so that we can have a discussion about what is required.

What if my child has an accident or falls ill during Cadets?

Minor accidents are inevitable and we have trained first aiders at Jubilee Cadets to attend to your child as necessary but in the case of serious accident the emergency services will be informed to give appropriate first aid.

If your child becomes ill at Cadets we will do everything we can to make them comfortable but children will need to be collected from Cadets as soon as possible – our capacity and facilities are not suitable for longer care.

What if my child is unwell before attending Cadets?

Please inform us as soon as possible if your child is too unwell to attend Cadets. Please allow between 24/48 hours before your child returns to Cadets after being unwell. This would include diarrhoea, vomiting, a fever with a temperature of 101F/38°C or above. For other illnesses or viruses please contact the Cadets staff. Should your child require any medicine during Cadets, parents will be telephoned. Staff can administer prescribed medicines only on parents instructions with medicine clearly labelled.

What if I would like my child to be collected by someone else?

We must be informed prior to their collection and we will ask you to provide a password for your nominated person to use and we will also require evidence of their identity upon arrival.

What happens if it rains / there is bad weather?

Please ensure your child brings appropriate clothing, waterproofs and wellies. In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel Jubilee Cadets.

What if I am late dropping off or collecting?

If you’re running late to drop off or collect your child please call us on 0118 970 1300.

Our staff cannot leave children on the premises out of hours and therefore children collected between 6:00pm and 6:15pm will incur an additional fee of £15.00 and £10.00 for each 15 minutes thereafter.

Emergencies are to be expected and accepted but we do need your communication, preferably by telephone in order to correctly assist you.

What happens if I need to cancel a booked session?

If you do need to cancel any pre-booked sessions please contact us on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  All cancellation requests must be made through our admin office only.

If the cancellation request is received two or less days before your child is due to attend you will not be entitled to any credit/refund and your sessions will be lost.

Our Holiday Clubs do not offer cash refunds for any booking cancellations. You may only receive a credit note.

Notification 3 or more days before day of attendance - 100% Credit Note

Notification 0 to 2 days before day of attendance - 0% Credit Note

What if I have a complaint?

Should any parent wish to discuss any problems or concerns regarding their child at the Holiday Club, in the first instance contact Bella Johnson (Manager), or her Deputies. If the problem cannot be resolved through discussion, the parent must put the matter in writing to the Holiday Club Manager, who will then pass this on to Brian Jenkins, the Managing Director or his delegated Senior Manager.
